The sick diaries:I am home sick today, instead of being in school.
How I fell sick is really surprising, because I really didn't see it coming. In short, I went from having a sore throat on Tuesday morning to a full-blown headache and high fever on Tuesday afternoon.
I'm much better now, apart from the bona fide full-blown throat infection (self-diagnosis, judging by the large amounts of bloody dark-yellow phlegm I've been spitting out). Other symptoms include mild fever and giddiness.
Obviously I'm on the road to recovery since I have the strength to be blogging instead of languishing in my sick bed.
So far, I spent an amazing 16 hours sleeping, from 4pm yesterday afternoon to around 10am today. Feels weird not to be in school (yes, it is my first sick day since I dunno how long ago) and instead, to be slacking at home and supposedly recovering.
This sucks. I can't concentrate on studying, let alone mugging for Chem SPA this Friday and yet I can't bring myself to rot at home all day.
The other day, I read an article in the Straits Times about Internet addiction. There was this guy who confessed he had an Internet addiction because he mentioned logging on to check his email and finding himself on Youtube at 2am, watching videos of puppies and kittens doing sick things.
I find that rather disturbing, sitting slumped in front of the computer wasting time like that.
Feeling very mentally disturbed now.

OG 4!!! (Ok la, only a mini reunion. But still.)
Grace and I finally caught up with Xinyi!
Wow, this week was really busy, almost as bad as last week.
Basically, in the week I was off the Internet, here's what happened:
Monday: Had Bio SPA. Killer test.
Tuesday: Ran 2.4km for PC, then had Chem SPA. Went out with Desmy to buy a birthday present for Rashal and to EAT. :) Went around eating all the good stuff.
Wednesday: O2 camp started today! Bullied poor Davina while inspecting water bombs at the Ops room early in the morning. (Feels good to be a senior.) >:) Went for external Bio lecture at the Science Centre about the weird and cool things you can do with an embryo (well, at least that's my summary). After all that, spent 3 hours eating in Sakura with Desmy. Anymore eating trips with her and for sure I'll gain weight like crazy!
Thursday: Spent 2 hours waiting for the delivery guy to drop off the class shirts. And the supplier got the order wrong. Ah Ma and I trying to sort out the mess. Rashal called the guy up and bitched him really badly. And it was JJ NIGHT!!! I was super high, I kept scaring Davina. Together, we videoed the council dance! Haha, going to blackmail councillors with it. :) Mass dance with Cherie in an EXTREMELY packed hall. For some reason, more than half the people in the hall were seniors from the 27th all the way to the 24th batches. And SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! Some OG 4 people came back! Peiliang, Sacha, Fendy, Wee Leong... I haven't seen them in ages. Duc and Grace joined us, and we laughed ourselves silly camwhoring. Even though Xinyi wasn't there with us, we did manage to find her and take a picture. (see above) :)
And today is Friday. Everybody's feeling the after effects of JJ night, so there were loads of sick people and people on MCs (Medical Certificates, not May Chings). I was damn tired so that stupid Psycho Clean-and-Clear kept coming out and taking control of me. Apparently, she did some crazy stuff which leaves people questioning me. May Ching. Idiot Psycho. She really doesn't know how to behave herself. And Bio remedial was really fun today! We actually made Ms. Loh laugh, which she certainly doesn't do often enough. Psycho came out and left some of her obscene artwork on Rashal's cup. We were damn high even though Bio was darn draggy, more than 2 hours of viruses and operons. At the end of the lesson, Xiao Wei asked Ms. Loh on a date (i.e. invite her to Rashal's birthday party tomorrow).
Oh yeah! Today is the 29th of February! :) For those of us dinosaurs, the last time we had a school day on this date was in 2000 so it's kinda of a big thing, yeah. :) (My English is degenerating!)
And since the whole school knows already, I was on the JJ team that won 2nd place in the CCS. Refer to my last post. Congratulations will NOT be accepted because I'm damn sick of the whole thing already.
Looking back on the week summary, the length of the description grows with each day. Whoopee. Hopefully I shall crown tomorrow's entry with an essay of Rashal's party.
