Gosh I'm buggered.

Just came back from OGL camp. The place where we receive the training needed to survive Orientation 1 as a fully-fledged OGL.

As usual, I'm exhausted both physically and mentally. I knew I was already out of shape thanks to the school holidays and weeks of relative inactivity, but thanks to the Night Games, I am completely, totally whacked.

Night Games is already damn notorious for making wash-up prior to it pointless, but this one really did it for me. I finished the night soaked, panting and red inh the face, almost ready to call in to the Command Centre sick.

However, as much as I abhor strenous physical activity (kind of strange, considering I keep on signing on for JJ camps), this Night Games was especially fun. We played a Cluedo rip-off, the objective of which was to discover who killed Hu Nakamura (out of 5 suspects) where using what. Great fun.

That was one of the high points of the camp. Low points include the scolding Mr Chua gave us after Kinetic Warfare and the irritating fire drill. Though we haven't reached true OGL status yet, I certainly hope we are on the way. Okay, I should shut up now.

Lights out was at 1 am and we were rudely awakened at 4 am for a fire drill. Just like old times in Orientation 2. The difference was that I was a Shadow then and I'm an ordinary OGL now. That didn't really matter, considering that I was exactly the same during those two drills: exhausted and blurry. Things change, no matter how much they stay the same.

But the good thing was I discovered my sixth sense. Way too early this morning, I had already anticipated a fire drill. When the siren sounded, I was up and getting ready before I realised I was awake. This can be a handy skill exclusively for fire drills. =)

Anyway, back home in one piece, apart from some very, VERY minor injuries (mild rope burn, scrapes and bruises). But this is merely the first step in a series of never-ending events, before it all grinds to a screeching halt next week. I won't be updating as frequently anymore, I need to study for that (thankfully postponed) gosh-swoggled Maths test next Monday. Raah.
