Yay. I'm finally updating.

The first week of school is over and even though it's only 2 hours per lecture (1 hour for Theatre Studies) I'm pooped.

I go into the lecture hall and listen to the lecturer talk, I can feel myself slipping back into JC habits, LOL (this is not a good thing because it means falling asleep). Can't help it, now is only the first lectures and it's mostly housekeeping affairs. So thankful I don't have SPA any more.

Excited for lectures to begin next week - I'm already ploughing through my assigned readings for Political Science (though I need to read them again and make some notes on the side so I know exactly what I'm supposed to know) and bought the books for Sociology. Uni life is certainly going to be no picnic.

I wish I can go back and start JC life all over again... now I'm no longer so noob and know what's going on, I have to graduate and start all over again at the bottom of the noob chain in university. Damn, life is so unfair. At least in JC I know people. Nearly all the faces here are older and unfamiliar.

Apparently Zhinian is in my OG (she's on my contact list) but she was busy with Rag the whole camp. It's nice to know I have somebody I know around.

Met Germaine and Rouisanna yesterday: long time I haven't seen seniors (I'm a senior myself, for crying out loud). They made me feel young again *winks*

Nice surprise: just before I was about to buy some lunch, Hoi Yee called to say she and Dan Dan (plus a new friend Jing Yi (?)) were coming over to The Deck. Had lunch with them and Cherie - feels awkward when JC and secondary school social life collides. Haven't forgotten the last time it happened; I can practically feel the consequences. Still, it was nice to see them again. Have promised to meet up again (maybe next Thursday) since they all have a free slot that day.

Finally went to get my dorm room. Nice little place, a little tight and dusty (not to mention leaves all over the place). I'm gonna enjoy independent living (and dump my laundry all at home, haha).
