Well, Doomsday is over and done with. I can come out from under that dark cloud I have been hiding. So here are the details (so you people can stop SMSing me to ask my results):General Paper: A
English Literature: A
Chemistry: A
Mathematics: B
Biology: C
The grades are in the order that they appeared on the results slip, I wouldn't put them like this just for the sake of looking pretty.
My parents, good Asian parents as usual, nagged me about the unsightly C adorning my slip first of all, though my mother did say later she was proud of me. Damn straight my folks better be pleased, I worked goddamn hard to get this shit.
Like any good awards ceremony: *takes out cue cards* Thanks to my teachers for helping me get the results I got, my study buddies for the motivation to study and the good times we had, the school for the memories and not chasing us out at 10pm and to my parents for sending me to bloody Singapore in the first place. I couldn't have done it without you people (and probably wouldn't have wanted to either).
But now the real screwing begins. Y'see, my grades don't rule out Law (which is my father's dream for me) but they don't stand much of a chance either (which means more nagging and scolding about that evil C) so now, I'm being badgered, harrassed and rabbited to chase after different universities. So far, I have 20+ possible choices of courses and universities. Oh bugger.
The nightmare won't end until I get a place somewhere so wish me luck. *ties headband around forehead*
