I've been dropped from the senior facillitators.Words cannot begin to express my anger. I mean, the level of incompetence demonstrated by the JJ leaders is already appalling (refer to my earlier blog posts/rants) but this is an all-time low. Despite giving my name (twice) last year and last month, not only did the one senior fac meeting get cancelled (they forgot about us), I'm considered as not having given my name at all. How did I find out? Disturbed by a lack of any updates, I messaged Jean only to find that I was never registered and hence never a senior fac at all. Apparently, the person in charge of this was changed and a brand new recruitment email sent out. I did receive this email, but thinking myself already in, I didn't answer it (and anyway I was overseas so by the time I read it, the deadline for reply had already passed). Can you imagine how shocked I was to hear about this - stunning - development? I already know that the standard of JJ leadership is dropping alarmingly with each successive batch from the 26th downwards but this is astonishing, to say the least! I used to be proud to be a JJ leader, if not a JJ councillor and member of the 27th, but I'm starting to feel ashamed of being associated with such an incompetent system. I'm not afraid to vent on this blog despite getting in trouble in 2007 with the 27th because of yet another screw-up on the part of the councillors (stories which I will not disclose here for the sake of my friendships with them). I also won't pretend that I am such an examplary character myself. But still, when my conflicts with the leaders started to accumulate, I got steadily disillusioned. Suffice to say, I am deeply disgusted with the state of JJ leadership today, both as an ex-leader and as an outsider. People - clean your act up, or have no act left tp clean at all.
