Grarrhh.Am completely furious, angry, mad, incensed, enraged, infuriated, wrathful... you name it. My stupid sire called me (as usual) to complain about how dusty the house is and how he's still suffering from a sinus attack triggered by the place. He's been asking me to buy a folding bed and latex mattress and so on, so forth... the usual nagging. Today, however, he got to the point he's been trying to make: he wants me to throw out all my books. WTF??!! I tried to defend my precious books but apparently this fellow doesn't get sarcasm. Or bulldozes his way right through. He told me that: "things come and go in life. we shouldn't cling on to things, we must learn to let go." I valiantly tried to counter with more biting sarcasm but failed miserably as he refuses to take the bloody mickey. He actually thought I was genuinely ignorant of the fact that people do move on and I was asking for his philosophy. 20 minutes later, after sarcastically telling him I'd think about his words, the bugger took me seriously and let me throw the phone back onto its cradle. The idiot even SMSed me to 'bring his point home'!!! Tried to vent my unhappiness on the piano but 'Victor's Piano Solo' simply CANNOT be played when you feel like strangling somebody. Sigh. |
