Whooh, long time no update.

The main reason for this is because of the lack of things in my life which are blogworthy.

Anyway, went to watch 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' with kak Radha the day before yesterday. We were actually supposed to watch 'Twilight' but eventually decided it was too cliched and picked this other movie. I think it was worth it, it was hilarious. Personally, I LOVE British accents and the sound of everybody speaking in gorgeous and sexy Brit accents was fantastic.

To cut a long story short, go watch it. If not for the plot, (which is kinda impossible towards the end), at least for the sex gods and the 'nunga nungas'.

Incidentally, the past few days have been quite my days for meeting people. On Sunday, I met up with ah ma Angela to disturb her at work. While there, I happened to meet my camper, Jiarong, who's now in NJ.

The next Monday, I went to the gym at Redhill with kak Radha (a mistake my muscles still regret) and guess who we saw there? Nerrine and Webster. Nerrine gave me a strange look, partially because we know each other (very slightly, I might add) and because I was working out in a gym (I think). They left before Radha and I did.

We dillydallied out of the place, dropping by Ikea for a hot dog and I managed to persuade her to go to Orchard for pasta. Which makes it two milestones! One, getting the both of us fat and getting Radha to go to Orchard without dressing up. (Of course, I wouldn't expect to live long after that.)

We saw them at the bus stop outside Queensway and we took the same bus there.

Once at Orchard, after a massive meal which surely must have replenished the calories we lost in the gym, decided to go to HMV to browse before going to watch the movie. It was a LONG walk (from Orchard MRT to Somerset MRT) but it was definitely worth it. I wanna go blow an inordinate amount of cash on impractical merchandise from that place. Bury me there, please, so my ghost can go on browsing FOREVER. MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

However, I sobered up on browsing in the Japanese music section. Did I mention that I bought an Inuyasha CD while in KL recently? It cost me RM20 (about S$8) and I thought it was quite reasonable. Well, I saw the exact same CD in HMV going for S$72. *faints* This is NOT a typo. An astronomical price is being charged for the same miserable CD.

Eventually, we got to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Cathay. I met Kannan while buying tickets and he ended up watching the same movie as we did. (The fricking movie title is so long, I'm not going to bother typing it in.)

Much to my dismay, I saw Nerrine and Webster there too, browsing in one of the shops. The amazing thing was that they'd changed clothes, meaning they'd worn a different outfit each time we'd seen them. Intriguing or what?

Again, browsed happily in Gramophone. I seem to enjoy going to media shops rather than bookshops nowadays. Is it because I spend my days plugged in?

Got a proposition now though. My old man wants me to hurry back before the 5th of January to start writing lecture notes and begin the new term with more English lectures. Thankfully I got the senior facillitator call this morning or I wouldn't have an excuse to linger here in Singapore. If not, I would have ended up spending my birthday in a place where nobody cares.

Mind you, I don't even know whether it's a wise choice to want to spend my birthday here in Singapore. All the friends I made here, without exception, let me down in some way, big or small. I wasn't even supposed to be attached to the damn place, it was supposed to be a stopover on the way to pursuing my dreams.

Bloody sheesh, I hope next year's celebration is better than this one.

I will be staying in Singapore for Orientation, but I do wonder whether it is the right decision.
