Huzzah, the approaching end of another day.I find it quite hard to start off a blog post. Does anyone have the same problem? I never know how to begin so I type something random. I pick up steam once the idiotic opening is over and done with. Anyway. had the inaugural ASEAN forum thing at NIE today. We were being told to be honoured to have attended the first ever forum but...yeah. They prepared lanyards for participants to wear, complete with a piece of paper with your name and school printed on it. Donna didn't have one so she ended up wearing Desmy's. :) Got bored halfway through the Question and Answer session and ended up drawing furiously in my sketchbook. It's not a very good drawing, though. I was lazy and didn't bother to add in the people, both the audience and the panelists. Anyway, some good did come out of my hobby of drawing. Later, me, Rashal, Donna, Angela, Bryan (Angela's BF) and Darren skipped out halfway through and Rashal's dad was kind enough to give us all a ride to Boon Lay MRT. That wasn't easy, cramming all of us into the back of the minivan but we survived. :) Went home to stone and do Maths. How loathsome. I must go out and buy court shoes, there aren't any that will fit me and I have no intention of wearing shoes one size too small throughout the entire Pre-U Seminar. Ugh. A grasshopper of a variety I'd never seen before crashed onto my book while I was working earlier tonight. What did I do to it? *diabolical laughter*. Ask me in person. I really would like a piano. I need to indulge my new obsession with Yiruma by learning more of his pieces but my cheap keyboard is too short and the sound quality sucks. But real pianos cost at least $2000 and clavinovas $900 and good keyboards for $800 (a music instrument leaflet got dropped in my mailbox today). But I think it'll be a waste of money on little untrained me. I think I'll not be blogging tomorrow and Monday because my life is basically going to be the same. Labels: asean forum, drawing, pianos |
