Gonna be a very cheerful post.In stark contrast to yesterday's post: http://justfaris.livejournal.com/14461.html?view=20605#t20605 Visit his blog, JJcians, and be heartened. This is our JJ spirit in action and makes everything worthwhile. I'm not saying that he is totally right, all I'm saying is that it's appreciation from guys like this, the knowledge that we have touched others out there. Faris, thank you for letting us know that you've had a great time partying with us. All the best! :) Anyway, on to the next part. JJC CAME SECOND IN CHANCELLOR'S CHALLENGE SHIELD 2008!!! It was so nail-bitingly close! We lost to ACJC by ONE point!!! Anyway, we showed everybody that JJC is not just a neighbourhood JC only good at producing leaders. The competition this year was darn scary. So many schools sent representatives: ACJC, HCI, AJC, RVHS, RGS, RI, CJC, TPJC, NUS, NUS High, PJC, YJC, NYJC... and JJC got into the final round!!! The emcee was saying that this was the first time they had so many participants. There were only three teams in the finals: one from ACJC, one from RI, and one from JJC. In the end, after a long battle, the final score was: ACJC 34 JJC 33 RI 17 All the students were damn shocked: suddenly out of nowhere a neighbourhood JC got into the finals. But we rock! Another good thing: after the finals were over and we were about to leave, one of the emcee came and congratulated us. He said he was also from JJC :) JJ JJ is the best! :) Labels: blogger, chancellor's challenge shield, jjc |
