Before I launch into the photo-filled account of my return to Malaysia, I would like to post something else here.The post I uploaded on the 28th (understandably) generated a lot of controversy and caused the proverbial raised hackles for the injured parties mentioned.
After a in-depth discussion of the issues dealt with in the post, I am posting a full apology for the hurtful and upsetting comments that I have made.
Although I concur that I should not have posted such a tirade online (bearing in mind the furore over blog contents in popular media), this is not a retraction. Posting the piece was, for me, a crude, tactless, yet effective method of ensuring that my ire reaches the targeted audience.
I stand by every word I wrote, despite it being against my better judgement to post it in the first place. All the words were chosen with care and the sentences crafted to best express how I feel.
