RAAAAHH.Mother Tongue 'A' Levels tomorrow! DIEDIEDIEDIE!
I never studied but somehow, after getting out all that incoherent stuff out of my system, I feel a lot better. Relaxed, unconcerned, you name it.
Went to a Halloween party yesterday at HCI, couldn't get tickets, ended up having a dinner of fried chicken and mashed potatoes (very Midwestern American cuisine) at Waffletown. All this happened somewhere along Bukit Timah Road (which seems pretty long to me).
Thanks to Desmy, I wore outside clothes while everyone wore their orange Team JJ Leaders' shirt which made me stuck out like a sore thumb. We went to Westmall on our way to HCI from JJC whic was v. much appreciated, so I can go home and change! Free attire, my ass!
Other than that, had a pretty good time overall. Stoned a lot, more than I usually do nowadays in JJ because I realised, a little late, why I don't enjoy myself completely when going out with councillors: they nearly always talk about council work. Luckily dear Vivien tuned out after a while and joined me in my stoning. Hmm, I wonder how Ivan and Chin Hong stand it. (I guess they have each other :) ) Not that I resent my dear 27th council, it's just that maybe they don't realise that they're excluding me.
Never mind, Vivien always puts me at ease. Charmingly weird, she's also sweet and... weird. Haha, so very not descriptive.
Went to school last Friday for Mr Leow's maths lesson and went out to MacDonalds' for brunch with my PW group prior to our meeting. Met Cherie and Desmy there and we had a good time stuffing our faces. Afterwards, after a fairly successful PW rehearsal, I met up with Glennda and we mooched around the school for a bit. Wandered over to the Ops room, where the councillors were busy clearing it, Mr Leow style, which involved taking out everything, discarding whatever we didn't need, dividing the remaining stuff into four piles of SCDC, Log, Admin and Games stuff and repacking it all back into the Ops room. We lent a hand in the clearing, then went off for a break. Later, she went to talk to Tommy while I went back to haul banners. There was a minor kerfuffle when Evan wanted to keep her house banner even though the other three house captains had elected to dump theirs. While I lugged banners with the others, for a moment, I felt like one of them.
Afterwards, while we all relaxed in the LN, Benja and Zhongru from the 26th council dropped by to chitchat. There was a hell lot of gossiping going on but I declined to listen in.
Great time we had :)
