And I wept tears of joy.The Mother Tongue 'A'-Levels ended today, which translates to me not having to do Malay EVER again. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *evil laughter* Oh, but wait until results come out. *sinks back into chair* But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, now, won't we? The list of OGLs that cleared the interview came out today. Accompanying it was a list of comm postings that were actually the choices of the applicants, not the final assigned comm. Sadly for Desmy(the councillor who posted the lists while everyone else was having MT exams), everyone interpreted the lists as such, rejoicing that they got to be what they wanted to be. There was also a minor typo which resulted in all the people from S07 being mistakenly posted to S06. I went around looking for the councillor who posted the lists and found Vivien hanging around outside the council room. I met Desmy inside and when she told me she was the one who posted the lists, reported the errors to her. Her response was simple: to put it in a fluffy way, she proved that she deserved to be on the track team. Met Priscilla (my new friend from M.A.D camp) there and we teased each other again. After the furore, (saw Yan Ru lodge a complaint with the councillors-hmm, will reserve comment) went to LT 1 with my PW group to go through the OP slides one last time. We mucked about after that, waiting for the others to finish their stuff so we could go out and EAT. Finally got to go watch a movie with my kakak Radha, plus Rachel. We went to Jurong East Entertainment centre and Pizza Hut for lunch, where I met Cherie and her friends. As is the hot topic of the season, we chatted about the OGL postings and the legion of disgruntled applicants. We intended to watch 'Superbad', but neglected to notice that the movie was rated M18. Ooops. After making some lame excuses to the ticket attendant about our ICs, we ended up watching 'Seeker: The Rising Dark' (or something like that) which is rated PG. So much for an adult movie. My OP is thankfully on Wed, meaning I can go crap tomorrow. That means go to school to play squash and do holiday homework for me (I have no life outside of school). I get to look forward to going back to Malaysia, finishing OP and writing this stupid crappy I&R. |
